Oakbank Natural Pool

Overlooking a beautiful pond and surrounded by majestic Gums, the owners wanted to add a swimming pool that was great for family, entertaining and switching off after a hard day. Working with the owners and Landscaper, Elite Outdoor Design and Construct, we developed a design which added all of the elements required such as places for the kids to paddle, room to do laps, bathroom facilities, storage, places to lay back and a spot to keep the drinks cool. The pool features in floor cleaning system and a Remco Pool cover. As the house was a little further away, it was important to have everything they needed close at hand. Blending the materials in with the surrounding landscape we used natural stone and timber with panels of glass to ensure the view was not obstructed. The curve of the vertical wood wall allows some shelter from the wind but allows a glimpse of the surrounding garden and lets the beauty of the setting sun to creep through. Lighting from LED Outdoor creates a wonderful feel, making the space accessible day and night.
